Feeling May Around the corner

Hey Guys,

It has been a minute. April flew.

Wanted to take a moment to discuss sugary/ not sugary beverages, springing into action, snacking for the warmer weather.

Read an article on health safety of nonalcoholic beverages.

Question: Sugar or Fake Sugar? Answer: Neither!

Goal: Limiting additional sugar oral intake with beverages.

  • They are sneaky. They said diet, as if that makes it better, right?

  • They add chemicals, and sugar alcohols to make it "better."

  • Natural flavorings- not natural!

Please read attached article.

We want a " sweetened" beverage because it makes our taste buds and brain feel great. Though the additional calories, and chemicals in the product are not beneficial for our overall health.

Sticking with water is great, ways to add to water to make you feel sweet!

  • Adding frozen berries- utilized as ice as well

  • Adding citrus: lemon, lime, grapefruit(if appropriate for medication use)

  • Warm water, Yes! Even with the summer coming, warm water makes digestion easier.

Getting moving!

With Spring coming, now is the time to spring forward!

  • Grab your pup, or cat and go for a 10 minute stroll to stretch the legs. Every ten minutes add up.

  • Take a bike ride when doing errands in your town - EcoFriendly as well!

  • Gardening- Get those hands dirty and enjoy the sun and fresh air.

Snacks, with warmer weather approaching our desires of snacking will change palettes. Think of finding what is the juiciest, & freshest item to bite into.

Stay well and take it easy.

Bottom Line: Stay Hydrated with Water, get a few extra steps in, snack on the fruits
